25 YEARS OF HISTORY — A NOBLE MISSION
Twenty-five years ago /in 2001/, on October 20, the first bell rang at our Institute. The Yerevan Educational Institute of West Ukrainian National University was founded in 2001 and, over a quarter of a century of activity, has become a unique bridge between science and Armenian-Ukrainian friendship. We express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and Ukraine for providing Armenian young people with the opportunity to receive a high-quality education in their homeland at a prestigious, modern, and leading state university of Ukraine, as well as for their support. We extend our special thanks to the Ministry of Education, Science, Sport and Culture of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, for their continuous support throughout these 25 years. We also express our profound gratitude to our parent university for consistently keeping the Institute in its focus and supporting its development.
Esteemed Mr. Ghudratyan, they say that a person draws strength from their roots. We take pride in the fact that, after living in Ukraine for many years, pursuing an outstanding professional and public career, and holding high-ranking state positions, you chose to return to your homeland to contribute your knowledge and experience to the establishment and development of the Institute and to fulfill the mission of educating Armenian young people. This is a quiet and noble form of patriotism that does not speak, but acts. Mr. Ghudratyan, on behalf of the entire Institute staff, graduates, and students, we thank you for your unwavering dedication and years of consistent work. We wish you new heights and achievements. May the graduates of our university always uphold the honor and reputation of both our educational institution and our country, guided by the same creative determination through which this educational institution was founded and became a platform for cooperation and trust. On May 5, 2026, at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Yerevan Educational Institute of West Ukrainian National University in grand style with a solemn ceremony. It became a symbolic occasion to appreciate the journey we have traveled, recognize our achievements, and move forward with new goals and aspirations. A quarter of a century dedicated to strengthening Armenian-Ukrainian friendship and fulfilling the mission of educating new generations.
Happy 25th Anniversary!
